I loved reading To Kill A Mockingbird again. It was given to me by my friend Susan Swagler, Book Editor for Portico Magazine. It was wonderful to read the book at this time of year since there are so many references to camellias, azaleas , and gardening. I read excerpts from the first half of the book aloud to one of my children, and it was such a hit. Scout and  Jem's friendship with Dill is a particular treasure.
