Join us for the first in a series of 3 movies produced before a code of conduct was instituted, known as pre-code films. The Public Enemy, a 1931 film starring James Cagney & Jean Harlow, relates the story of a young man's rise in the criminal underworld in prohibition-era urban America.  Explore this fascinating and tumultuous time n American history through film amid the social climate of the 1930s.
